Judicious water use at Seymour Golf & Country Club is not only a means to preserving this essential natural resource, but also to growing the healthiest turf and reducing cost to the club.

The Club voluntarily submits a ‘Water Use Plan’ annually to the municipality for their approval. This plan defines watering priorities, sets conservation goals, and outlines the many strategies utilized to minimize consumption while maintaining acceptable playing standards.

Critical to the success of these strategies is a state-of-the-art course irrigation system, utilizing an on-site weather station linked to computer controls.
