We realize how lucky we are here at Seymour to have such a beautiful setting under our stewardship, and we take our environmental responsibilities seriously.

The surrounding forest is what defines our course and provides it with a unique identity.  Mature fir, cedar and maple trees provide habitat for wildlife, from squirrels to black bears, from ducks to eagles, and they shield us from the noise and business of the city.

Seymour has been a leader across Canada and North America in the development of strict protocols for managing noise, water use,  energy consumption, recycling, pesticide applications, tree health, pond health, and wildlife corridors.  Ensuring the protection of our land and resources is an important part of Seymour's contribution to the greater community beyond our 130 acres.
